Jesse Barrientes: All right. How about after we finish things up here? Now we're ready. I've supplied all of my documentation, my taxes, my payment advices.
David Siegel: Case gets filed, is what you're saying.
Jesse Barrientes: Case gets filed, right.
David Siegel: You need to take a two hour financial management class prior to your case being discharged where you're going to—
Jesse Barrientes: I have to take another class?
David Siegel: Yes, because you obviously didn't understand, or weren't grasping all that you needed to grasp on personal finance. The government wants to make sure that you don't file bankruptcy again. They're doing it for you so you understand about credit, about debt, living within your means, and also some good sources to go to if you're having problems, like Federal Trade Commission, things like that.
Jesse Barrientes: Dave, you are an accredited provider of the credit counseling.
David Siegel: Yes. I do teach a financial management class. I am an accredited financial counselor, and that is something that is part of my practice. All of my clients perceive that as a courtesy. They take the two hour class through me.
Jesse Barrientes: If I need therapy, Dave, I'll come and see you.
David Siegel: And if I need therapy I'll come see you.
Jesse Barrientes: Absolutely.
David Siegel: We can help each other out.
Jesse Barrientes: I think so.
David Siegel: I think so.
